Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries is a national recognition program that awards student volunteers for their innovative solutions to financial and societal challenges in their communities. An Emerging Visionary is a changemaker – a young person with a bold vision for impact and a project to make it happen.
Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries is the evolution of the Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards. This long-standing program has honored thousands of young people during its 13-year history in India and over 27-year-old legacy in the United States. We continue to identify, celebrate and support the next generation of changemakers.
Emerging Visionaries is specifically looking for innovative solutions for two categories: Financial Solution Challenge and Societal Solution Challenge. So, if you have a solution to create positive change in the world, tell us about it.
Who should apply
Individual students from classes 8 to 12 who have been engaged in a volunteer activity, at least partly during the application period, can apply for Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries. Only students living and studying in India may apply.

How to apply
You can apply via our online platform. Register and create your account before filing the online application form. The application will need to be e-certified by your school principal.

Awards & Recognition
5 finalists (Financial Solution Challenge) and 20 finalists (Societal Solution Challenge) will be selected at the end of the program.
These students will be judged by an eminent jury panel to identify and award the 2 national honorees at the Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries Awards Summit in Delhi NCR slated to take place in March 2024.*
Winners will receive the following
- The 2 national honorees (one from each category - Financial Solution Challenge & Societal Solution Challenge) will receive Certificates of Excellence, gold medallions, and a cash prize of INR 50,000 each.
- Trophies will be presented to their school principals.
- In addition to the above, both honorees will get an all-expense paid trip to the international recognition event in the United States.*
Finalists will receive the following
- The 23 finalists will receive Certificates of Appreciation and silver medallions. The participants will get an opportunity to meet other finalists and well-known guests at the Awards Summit.
- All finalists will get an all-expense paid trip to the Awards Summit in Delhi NCR.
*Please note that if circumstances necessitate cancelling the in-person event, a virtual ceremony will be conducted, and no trip will be provided.
Eligibility
Participants must meet the following eligibility criteria to participate:
- Only individual students in classes 8th to 12th, who have been engaged in a volunteer activity during the application period, can apply for the Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries.
- Each participant can submit only one application.
- Participants must be legal residents of India and studying in Indian schools.
- Applications must be submitted in English.
- Applications should describe the participant's community/social service activity at an individual level and must be e-certified by the school principal.
- Students who have earlier participated in the program (excluding national honourees) are also eligible to apply.
- National honorees (Gold Medalists) of the Pramerica Life Insurance Emerging Visionaries and Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards are NOT eligible to apply.
- Employees of Pramerica Life Insurance, or its affiliates, participating advertising & promotion agencies, and their children & grandchildren are NOT eligible to apply.
